Led by the European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless (FEANTSA), the second phase of the PRODEC project aims to address key gaps identified during the first phase by: collecting data and information about destitute mobile EU citizens; creating durable links between homeless service providers and lawyers; identifying and scaling-up existing good practice of services for destitute mobile EU citizens; and strengthening collaboration with local authorities to address destitution among mobile EU citizens.
Key findings from the PRODEC project will feed into the Civic Observatory on the Rights of EU Citizens (CORE), which FEANTSA is running together with Médecins du Monde and the European Citizen Action Service. The aim of CORE is to monitor legal and political developments in different areas relating to EU citizenship, and to support joint cross-sectoral initiatives and advocacy action.
