Young Mobile Workers in Precarious Europe

Led by European Alternatives, this project aims to improve access to citizenship rights for young EU mobile workers who are active in the informal economy. The project covers different activity strands, including research into the specific hurdles faced by young EU mobile workers, advocacy towards EU institutions and national governments (particularly in the context of the development of a European Labour Authority) and outreach to trade unions to explore pathways for closer cooperation. A core group of young EU mobile workers will be closely involved in the implementation of the different activity strands to raise awareness of, and advocate for, their citizenship rights.
