Stories of Change

EPIM sees Impact as the ecosystem’s collective progress towards catalysing the social changes we want to see and our progress towards our Vision, through our 4-Pillar approach. This is what we aim to measure through our Learning Framework.

We do so through questions around our levers of change, using those to listen and sensemake individually and collectively, identify significant patterns, and take actions to adapt and improve based on what we have learned.

The Road Ahead – EPIM’s Annual Report 2023

As EPIM enters a new chapter as the European Philanthropic Initiative for Migration, we are adopting a fresh framing of our work. How we relate to migrants today is a precursor to how we will relate to one another tomorrow — and to the future of democracy in Europe.

EPIM’s 2022 Annual Report

In 2022, Europe faced the largest displacement since WWII as millions fled Ukraine, triggering the EU’s Temporary Protection Directive and an inspiring display of solidarity, but also exposing stark double standards in refugee reception. Across the continent, challenges persisted, from pushbacks at borders to crises in reception systems, even as new EU initiatives on labour mobility and skills pathways emerged. Amidst this, EPIM supported partners across Europe and began a Process of Change to renew its role as a collaborative fund for the future.
