EPIM has a mixed governance model, through the Forum, Executive Council and Cluster Committees creating a more democratic, objective, legitimate and future-proof decisionmaking structure. Its work is led by a team of seven staff and consultants. All three governing bodies include an equal proportion of representatives from EPIM partner foundations and external members from the migration ecosystem. Thus, all key strategic and funding decisions are collaboratively made by the team, and a combination of funders and other experts and practitioners with knowledge, connections and lived experiences.
