Communicating Stories to Welcoming Grandparents

In 2018-2019, Refugees Welcome International (RWI) carried out the pilot phase of a three-year communications capacities development programme. Throughout year one, RW Italia, RW Austria, RW Sweden, RW Spain, and RW France collaboratively assessed gaps and potential of communications capacities, draft a joint communications strategy and tested results in pilot activities.

During year two of the project, RWI will mature the developed communications strategy by conducting further research work laying ground to better understand audiences and craft messages that resonate and launch the new RWI’s campaign ‘Communicating Stories to Welcoming Grandparents’. Through this campaign, RWI envisages reaching European grandparents, raising their awareness about a welcoming culture and migration issues.
