No Detention Necessary II

Led by Stowarzyszenie Interwencji Prawnej (Association for Legal Intervention, SIP), this project builds on the organisation´s previous experience in implementing an ATD pilot and advocating for decreasing the use of detention in Poland. The project is aimed at reducing immigration detention, promoting engagement-based ATD and contributing to the growing evidence and momentum on ATD at a national and regional level. It is focused around a holistic case management with the objectives of minimising absconding and promoting case resolution by exploring all possible case resolution options.
