The ongoing negotiations of the 2021-2027 EU Multiannual Financial Framework provide a unique opportunity to learn from past EU funding experiences and enhance the contribution of future EU funding to migrant inclusion and social cohesion efforts.

Money Wise – Improving how EU funds support migration and integration policy objectives, a Policy Brief by Migration Policy Institute (MPI) Europe, analyses how the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and the ESF work to support migration and inclusion efforts around Europe.

The publication draws on interviews with EU policymakers, national and subnational managing authorities as well as Funds’ beneficiaries.
