Unravelling Travelling

This briefing by the European Council for Refugees and Exiles (ECRE) provides an overview of practice in the 20 European countries covered by the Asylum Information Database (AIDA), on the basis of publicly available sources, as well as information provided by civil society organisations in these countries. It will firstly set out the international and European legal framework relating to the obligation to issue travel documents to beneficiaries of international protection.
