The EPIM Steering Committee has appointed Sahar Yadegari from the Adessium Foundation in the Netherlands to take over as EPIM Chair after Stefan Schäfers has stepped down from his role in October 2018. Sahar Yadegari is Program Manager of the Public Interest Program as well as the Migration & Asylum Dossier at the Adessium Foundation and has been an EPIM Steering Committee member for three years and an EPIM Executive Committee member for one year.
Adessium Foundation is a Dutch fund founded in 2005. It is a privately funded public benefit organization that provides financial support to charitable organisations in the Netherlands and worldwide. Adessium Foundation aspires to a world in which people live in harmony with each other and with their environments.
Prior to joining Adessium Foundation in 2014, Sahar Yadegari worked as a management consultant for eight years at EY and PWC. As a management consultant, her focus was on public organisations, varying from municipalities to implementing agencies. Sahar has a Master degree in Public Administration from the University of Leiden and University of British Colombia (Vancouver) and an MBA from Nyenrode University.
