Supporting the transition to autonomy of unaccompanied and separated children and youth in Belgium

Mentor-Escale is a civil society organisation which supports unaccompanied and separated children and youth by facilitating their inclusion within Belgian society, helping them to create a social network and developing holistic interventions to promote their development, well-being and life projects.

This projects aimed to strengthen and scale the educational, social and psychological support that Mentor-Escale provides to migrant youth in their transition to autonomy and inclusion. The project also aimed to put in place a process to facilitate the participation of former beneficiaries and volunteers within key areas of the organisation’s work.
