Through the EPIM-funded Voicify project, The Young Republic and its partners have carried out a milestone consultation of YREMASUD-led organisations across the EU in 2021. The term YREMASUD refers to Young Refugees, Exiled, Migrants, Asylum Seekers and Undocumented migrants. They are mostly third-country nationals and often excluded from political activities. YREMASUD organisations form a significant platform for these young persons to make their voices heard and defend their rights.
The consultation aimed to identify obstacles and barriers to full, effective, constructive and inclusive political participation of YREMASUD through their self-led organisations, and to provide
concrete policy recommendations for relevant authorities, institutions and civil society organisations to address these challenges. This report provides an overview of key findings from the consultation.
