PICUM has set the ambition to broaden their audiences and their impact on them in line with the organisation’s and their members’ strategic advocacy objectives at the end of a three-year capacity development process.
PICUM has made more strategic communications efforts a priority in their organisational strategy and theory of change. Now that the profile of strategic communications work in the organisation has risen, this will need to be put in practice with an elaborate and robust communications strategy followed by an action plan that enables staff members to contribute to or drive strategic communications in the framework of the organisation’s daily operations.
A dedicated task force of PICUM members will follow the process. Outcomes are meant to benefit all PICUM members. A particular effort will be made to ensure that beneficiaries of PICUM’s work have space to participate in this process and influence the results.
